Customized Lot Box Holders

Many of the clients we work with at Reytek present us with multiple challenges. In addition to the requirements of maintaining a clean room environment, we are also frequently tasked with designing customized products. We work in collaboration with our clients to solve problems and create specialized designs.

Lot box holders are containers that hold fragile items, such as semiconductor wafers. These thin wafers are fragile and at the same time extremely costly. It’s no exaggeration to say that a single piece of silicon in a semiconductor wafer is more valuable than its weight in gold.

We carry standard lot box holders for certain manufactured lot boxes, and we can also custom design them.

Discs come in a few sizes and dimensions. Reytek takes precise measurements from physical boxes to ensure a proper fit that reduces the chance of damage.

In one instance, a client needed a lot box holder that would keep semiconductor wafers stable and safe during transport. Because of the fragile nature of the wafers, the lot box needed to be absolutely secure. To ensure that the lot box was a proper fit, we requested a sample from the client. That was the best way to ensure that our design would provide sufficient protection for the wafers against scratching, cracks, or breakage.

We work in close collaboration with our clients through every step in the process. This approach ensures that our solutions are built to meet the specific needs of each customer and obtain the best measurements possible.
