Custom cleanroom equipment engineered around your facility.

We build cleanroom equipment around your space, your workflow, and your controlled-environment requirements. Most of the time we have a product that matches your needs, but if you need dimensional changes or entirely new designs, we can deliver a zero compromise solution.

Reytek designs and manufactures built-to-order stainless steel equipment for controlled environments. Start with one of our 6,000+ engineered existing designs and change only what your application requires, or bring our engineers a requirement no catalog product solves.

We work around spatial constraints, equipment integration, material handling, and ergonomics, for semiconductor, biotech, pharmaceutical, aerospace, government, and research facilities. Every project is designed and built in our Albuquerque facility, and you speak directly with the engineers doing the work.

Cleanroom equipment configured for your application

Across every product line, we can change the dimensions, layout, materials, mounting, mobility, storage, access, and functional features.

These are some representative examples of what we can customize (in 304 or 316 stainless steel), as well as your application:

Work surfaces and workstations

Tables, workstations, and shelving built to your surface dimensions, working heights, and process layouts.

Carts and material handling

Carts, racks, mobile workstations, monitor mounts, and trays with the shelf arrangement, casters, anti-vibration and load rating your material flow requires.

Storage and gowning equipment

Cabinets, dispensers, lockers, PPE and garment storage, and benches configured for your gown room and the space you have.

Transfer and controlled enclosures

Pass-throughs, desiccators & purge enclosures, and glove boxes with compartment, door, and access configurations matched to how material moves in and out of your cleanroom.

Access and unique equipment

Stands & platforms, steps & ladders, footrests, and accessories, along with any equipment that fits no standard category at all.

Choose the level of customization your project needs

Custom does not have to mean starting from zero, and it rarely means starting slow.

Most projects at Reytek begin with a design we have already engineered and model parametrically, so adapting proven geometry to your dimensions is far quicker than designing from a blank sheet. The scope of the change determines the engineering involved, and the lead time.

  1. Modify a proven design

Adjust an existing model to fit your space and process. Open any of our products, select Customize It, and then add a note to us that describes the custom dimensions you need.

  2. Add specialized functionality

Integrate features an existing design does not include, like HEPA filtration, security locks, mechanical interlocks on pass-throughs, or purge systems. We often take existing carts, tables, or workstations, and add monitor arms and keyboard trays on carts and workstations, integrating features into equipment for purpose-built products. The base design stays proven; the equipment becomes purpose-built.

  3. Engineer a new solution

When no existing configuration fits your footprint, transfer method, process, or ergonomics, we engineer new equipment to your requirements. We can start from a phone call or a sketch on a napkin and deliver a complete design.

  4. Plan and equip the whole room

Bring us in during design and we'll plan the room layout, specify the equipment, and build everything from one source. Start with our Gown Room Design Handbook, or send us your room dimensions and gowning protocol and we'll design the gown room for you.

Built for cleaning, not just for fit

Custom dimensions don’t matter much if the finished equipment traps particles. We build custom work to the same standards as our catalog products: from US-sourced stainless steel, with all-welded construction, and smooth, continuous welds with no cracks or crevices to hold contaminants. It’s the standard behind our promise: we build trust in every weld.

Our custom-made products are fabricated in 304 or 316 stainless with a brushed #4 finish that wipes down easily and stands up to routine cleaning. The surfaces are designed to wipe down easily and stand up to routine cleaning, and the same construction standards apply, whether we resize an existing cabinet or engineer a new enclosure. Electropolishing and powder coating are available on request for applications depending on the product size and complexity.

A direct path from requirements to finished equipment

Our design and production teams share one single roof in Albuquerque, so nothing stands between you, your engineering team, and the people building your equipment.

Step 1: Define the requirement

We review your application, dimensions, workflow, environment, and quantity, along with any drawings you have. We can work with a concept drawing with paper and pencil, all the way up to a full CAD drawing.

Step 2: Develop and review the design

We adapt an existing Reytek model, or we develop a new one in SolidWorks, then send it for your review. Revit (RFA) families and 3D models are available on request so you can verify fit in your facility.

Step 3: Manufacture in-house

Precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, TIG welding, and assembly all happen in our own facility.

Step 4: Inspect and ship

We inspect, clean, pack, and ship your equipment direct from our Albuquerque facility. For new designs, we can provide models within a week of receiving your order. Based on the size of the product, we will build a custom crate to secure your product. We’ll photograph the product before packing it up, as well as its fully packed state, to ensure it is perfect when it leaves our facility.

We're going to need seven semis for this order

"If you've built a cleanroom from scratch, you know the gown room is where it succeeds or fails. No other space touches every person, every shift."

A leading semiconductor manufacturer was outfitting a new fab with multiple gown rooms and asked us for help. We started by mapping the steps in their gowning protocol to the best Reytek design for those steps for each room.

Once we settled on the product mappings, we provided initial layouts of the rooms to get approval from their layout owner. The final step before purchase was to deliver full 3D room models to confirm flow and function before the order was placed.

Their order came to about 35 line items, with multiple units of everything: dispensers, benches, gown racks, tables, wipe-down tables, waste receptacles, and the other pieces they needed to get their space ready on time. It filled seven semis. We kitted the products by room so each room could be installed straight off the truck.

Over our 30 year history of working with this company we have built a trusted relationship for delivering world-class quality, functionality and customer service.

If you are in the early stages of a cleanroom build, we would be glad to help with layout and product selection. Even if you are well into the project, we can review your needs and offer suggestions.

Custom cleanroom equipment FAQs

Yes. Most custom projects start with one of our 6,000+ existing designs, and alter the dimensions, configuration, mobility, or storage.

Yes. Send us your requirements, or a facility constraint, or a sketch, drawing, or photograph, and our engineers will review it.

The intended use, dimensions, quantity, installation constraints, required features, and your target schedule. Drawings or photographs help, but they aren't required.

Mainly the scope of the change. Resizing an existing design costs less than engineering a new one. The quantity, materials, and added features all factor in. If a design fee applies, we identify it in your quote.

Yes, we provide 3D models in STEP and IFC formats, & Revit (RFA) families on request. Ask us about availability for your specific product.

An engineer reviews your requirements, and follows up to confirm details, then we prepare the design and your quote.

We build finished stainless steel equipment for controlled environments, from a single unit to a full room package. We don't take on piece-part or job-shop metalwork, and if you require plastic fabrication, we can connect you with a partner we trust.

Talk to an engineer about your project

You don’t need a finished specification to talk to us. Just describe the application, the equipment you need, or the constraint you are working around, and send us whatever you have. An engineer will follow up with you. You can also call 505.298.2338 during business hours to speak with an engineer directly.
